A fundamental element and the ultimate life-giving force, water—precisely because it has the ability to transform, to disappear, and to be reborn, because it is a source of life and sometimes also a cause of death—fascinates and unleashes the imagination and creativity.

It is interesting to note that water, due to its ambivalent nature—calm and precious waters or, conversely, wild and dangerous ones—can give rise to vastly different symbols and aesthetics.

While maternal waters bring forth springs and cause plants to sprout, untamed and destructive waves lead to death. It is all these ambivalences that led me to propose this artistic journey at the Hôtel Rochegude, combining installations, sculptures/objects, paintings, drawings, photographs, videos, and sound works.
